Students in the Irvin D. Reid Honors College come to Wayne State from throughout Michigan and beyond. They are campus leaders, involved in student organizations and engaged in our community. Honors students have majors from every undergraduate program offered at WSU, from the natural and social sciences, to business, engineering, the arts and humanities, education and nursing.

There are three different pathways for being admitted into the Honors College: one for first-year students, one for transfer students, and one for current Wayne State students. Use the links at left to find out more.

The Irvin D. Reid Honors College hosted an Honors Showcase for prospective students, parents and guests on March 28, 2019. During the event, Dean John Corvino provided information about the Honors College and a panel of current students shared their opportunities and experiences as Honors students at Wayne State University.
