Nominations Sought for David Mackenzie Honor Society

Attention graduating seniors:
Nominations sought for David Mackenzie Honor Society

Each year, the David Mackenzie Honor Society (DMHS) selects 10 to 15 outstanding graduating seniors to join its ranks and be honored at an annual induction ceremony, which will be held this year on Tuesday, April 17, at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center.

Induction into DMHS is recognition of high academic achievement and contributions to the Wayne State campus community. It's a great opportunity to network with successful alumni and connect to the university each year at an annual reunion.

Nominations are open to any student graduating in Fall 2006, Winter 2007 or Spring/Summer 2007. Students can nominate themselves by submitting a completed activity survey and providing a letter of recommendation from a faculty or staff member. Applicants will be notified by e-mail by Friday, April 6, if they are accepted.

Nominations deadline has been extended to Friday, March 30. Download an application form or pick up a hard copy in the Honors office, 2100 Undergraduate Library. Nominees do not need to be Honors students to apply.

Questions can be directed to DMHS adviser Liza Lagman Sperl at dmhs@wayne.edu.
