Scholars Day frequently asked questions
Can my parents attend Scholars Day?
Yes, you can bring as many as two guests to Scholars Day. Please indicate how many guests you are bringing when you RSVP.
What do I wear to Scholars Day?
We recommend business casual. It's not formal, but please don't wear jeans or sweatshirts. Also be sure to wear walking shoes and dress for the weather, as campus tours may be taking place.
Who do I contact if I need special accommodations or have dietary restrictions?

What will I do at Scholars Day?
Students attending Scholars Day will have the opportunity to learn about the Irvin D. Reid Honors College and Wayne State during an academic resource and student services fair. Participants also will be asked to write an essay and take part in a small group interview with WSU faculty, staff, students and alumni.
I participated in Scholars Day. What happens next?
You will receive notification about your membership in the Irvin D. Reid Honors College and a possible Scholars Day award within the next several weeks.

- Financial aid and additional scholarship opportunities (make sure you have applied for both)
- Living on campus during freshman year
- How to accept your Honors College membership and any additional award
