Serena Wilcox

Biography

 Serena Wilcox received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a multidisciplinary Sociologist of education, childhood studies, and community. Her research interests examine the influences of race, class, gender, and sexuality on public policy and thought. She is concerned with how social movement formations of resistance and refusal to structural violence can offer frameworks of reparative ways of being.
