Brittany Miller
Biography
Brittany is the newest Academic Advisor II in the Irvin D. Reid Honors College. Brittany has worked in higher education since 2014 in various capacities including recruitment, enrollment management, student activities, event coordination, and advising. Brittany joined WSU in January 2022 as an Academic Services Officer in the College of Nursing where she advised for the Traditional BSN and Direct Admit for Freshmen programs. She earned her BS in Psychology from Michigan State University and MEd in Higher Education Leadership from Oakland University. Brittany has a passion for college access and educational equity and strives to be a pillar of support for students as they navigate their college journey.
Brittany is from Detroit, MI and enjoys exploring the city to find hidden gems. She also loves adventure, travel, fashion, food, and spending time with loved ones. Brittany is newly married, and while many may know her as Brittany Thomas, she is going through the process to change her name to Brittany Miller.
