Meagan Slappey
Biography
Meagan Slappey serves as the Wayne Direct-Med Coordinator. Meagan has worked in higher education for almost 10 years in various advising and academic support roles and joined the Irvin D. Reid Honors College Fall 2023. She is extremely excited to work with the WMD Cohorts of today and the future.
Meagan earned her BAA from Central Michigan University, her MA in Higher Education/Student Affairs at Eastern Michigan University, and her EdD in Organizational Leadership with a focus in Diversity Leadership from Oakland University. Meagan has a passion for supporting students in higher education and acting as a "lighthouse" during their journey.
