The Honors College has established partnerships across campus to offer additional opportunities to our students. The creation of pre-professional tracks as well as community service and volunteer programs connect students with academic and volunteer options that enrich and strengthen their studies at Wayne State and help answer the question, "What else have you done?"
Honors Pre-Professional Tracks
An eight-year B.S.-to-M.D. program in cooperation with the School of Medicine, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Graduate School.
An innovative five-year program that guarantees admission to the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program in the WSU Mike Ilitch School of Business.
LawStart allows highly motivated students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to earn both a bachelor's and law degree from Wayne State in just six years of study.
AGRADE enables qualified seniors to enroll simultaneously in undergraduate and graduate programs and apply as many as 15 credits toward both a bachelor's and master's degree in their major field.
Honors Community Service Programs

Participating students can crystallize classroom lessons while expanding their horizons through service-learning opportunities in our vibrant metropolitan Detroit community.
Earn two, three or four credits while teaching K-2 grade students how to read.
