Attention graduating seniors: Nominations sought for David Mackenzie Honor Society

Each year, the David Mackenzie Honor Society (DMHS) selects 10 to 15 outstanding graduating seniors to join its ranks and be honored at an annual induction ceremony, which will be held this year on Tuesday, April 26, at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center.

Induction into DMHS is recognition of high academic achievement and contributions to the Wayne State campus community. It’s a great opportunity to network with successful alumni and connect to the university each year at an annual reunion.

Nominations are open to any student graduating in Fall 2010, Winter 2011 or Spring/Summer 2011. Students can nominate themselves by submitting a completed activity survey.  Applicants will be notified by e-mail by Friday, April 15, if they are accepted.

The application deadline is Monday, April 11, 2011. Download an application form or pick up a hard copy in the Honors office, 2100 Undergraduate Library. Nominees do not need to be Honors students to apply.

Questions can be directed to DMHS adviser Liza Lagman Sperl at dmhs@wayne.edu.
