Nominations sought for David Mackenzie Honor Society

March 1, 2009

Attention graduating seniors:
Nominations sought for David Mackenzie Honor Society

Each year, the David Mackenzie Honor Society (DMHS) selects 10 to 15 outstanding graduating seniors to join its ranks and be honored at an annual induction ceremony, which will be held this year on Monday, April 27, at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center.

Induction into DMHS is recognition of high academic achievement and contributions to the Wayne State campus community. It’s a great opportunity to network with successful alumni and connect to the university each year at an annual reunion.

Nominations are open to any student graduating in Fall 2008, Winter 2009 or Spring/Summer 2009. Students can nominate themselves by submitting a completed activity survey and providing a letter of recommendation from a faculty or staff member.

Download an application form or pick up a hard copy in the Honors office, 2100 Undergraduate Library. Nominees do not need to be Honors students to apply. Applications must be turned in to the Honors office by March 20 at 5 p.m. Students who may require a deadline extension should contact Liza Lagman Sperl at dmhs@wayne.edu

Questions can be directed to DMHS adviser Liza Lagman Sperl at dmhs@wayne.edu.
