Honors Mission

Honors provides a community of scholars within a large urban research university.

It is the mission of Honors to promote informed, engaged citizenship as the foundation for academic excellence in a diverse global setting.

Honors accomplishes its mission by attracting and retaining talented students, promoting the Honors four pillars, and cultivating within students not only a different way of thinking but a desire to make a difference.
