To graduate with University Honors you must complete:
- 36 credits in Honors courses, including completion of Honors 1000 and PS 1010
- At least one Honors 4200-level Seminar
- Service-learning course for a minimum of three credits
- Honors thesis.
Please make sure that you are in touch with an Honors College adviser about these requirements, declaring University Honors, and all other information about Honors.
For departmental honors, you need to complete a minimum of 12 credits in Honors courses, which includes at least one Honors College 42xx-level Seminar and an Honors Thesis with a full-time faculty member from your department. The total amount of credits needed in Honors courses can vary by department, but will always inlcude this basic minimum package. Please make sure that you are in touch with your department adviser for all of the specific requirements for your major.
