If you are a Wayne State Scholar and incoming freshman in Fall 2009, please consider a new opportunity the Honors College has created for students like you. It's the Wayne State Community of Scholars.
As a member of the Wayne State Community of Scholars, you can take advantage of special opportunities, offered only to students like you.
- Become a founding member and help us design an effective Community of Scholars
- Enroll in specially designated courses with other Wayne State Scholars. Cluster courses selected by Scholars may include HIS 1000 (Ancient World History) with HON 2100 (Classical Origins of Western Thought) or HIS 1000 with BIO 1030 (Biology Today)- list of recommended courses available for Fall
- Live on Scholars floors in the residence halls and participate in exciting learning and living opportunities - Apply now!
- Take advantage of exclusive Scholars study groups, social events, and co-curricular activities including Done-in-A-Day Service in Detroit (September 11), Movie Night (September 25), and Bowling in the D (October 9).
