A member of MedStart, Ridwan graduated Summa cum Laude from Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences Honors and University Honors. Upon graduation, he enrolled at John Hopkins University’s School of Medicine, where he is currently a second-year medical student. In 2014, Ridwan received the Persky Urological Research Award at John Hopkins University.
A member of the Irvin D. Reid Honors College, Patrick earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology with Honors. Upon receiving his bachelor’s degree, he enrolled in the Wayne State School of Medicine, where he is currently a full-time second year student.
A 2014 Wayne State graduate, Bharat was a member of the Irvin D. Reid Honors College from 2010-2014. Upon receiving his Bachelors of Arts in Economics, he enrolled in the University of California's Irvine School of Medicine. While at Wayne State, he was a member of the Chemistry Department's Chair's Honors List (2010-2012) and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Adnan attended the Honors College from 2006 to 2010, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences (with Honors) with a minor in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a University Honors co-Major. After graduation, he attended the University of Michigan Medical School, where he graduated in 2014. He is currently a resident in the University of Michigan Department of Anesthesiology.
Carol graduated from Wayne State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, complete with University Honors, and a minor in Biological Science. Since then, she has been working as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania, where she teaches Biology and Chemistry at a Secondary School. She has also been involved in community outreach programs related to HIV/AIDS and malaria.
A 2006 Honors College graduate, Jordan has spent her time furthering her education, earning a master's degree in 2008 and a PhD in 2012. Since then, her Postdoctoral Fellowship work in the field of Ecology has taken her all the way from the deserts of Utah to the tropical climate of Madagascar. She is currently conducting research at Rice University.
